I always get the best care at 100%!! Courtney always greets me with a smile and the best attitude. Kim works out all my tense muscles during my massage, and I get the added benefit of great conversation during our time together. Then Dr. Matt does my adjustments with gentle and efficient movements. I don’t always get the satisfying “crack and pop” I’m used to with previous chiropractors, but I’ve found that days and weeks after my care with Dr. Matt, I have much more mobility and less pain than I did, which is ultimately the end goal. Highly recommend the whole team! I feel like a valued person and not just a number or another patient.

I went into chiropractic care for neck tension/pain despite being nervous about neck adjustments. Dr. Matt listened to my concerns and adjusted my therapy plan to fit my comfort level. The progress X-rays are a great way to physically show the evidence behind the relief I’m experiencing with chiropractic care. I’m halfway through my adjustments and I no longer have daily neck pain. Dr. Matt also offers additionally complimentary and alternative therapies like dry needling and laser therapy. His dry needling provided much needed relief in my pulled hamstring when it felt like nothing was helping. The adjunct massages from Hollie are a game changer for sore muscles. She is very knowledgeable in her field and will share tips and tricks for muscle tension relief at home. Courtney makes sure the environment at 100% chiropractic is exceptionally welcoming by greeting everyone by name and with a warm smile. From check in to check out you are made to feel like part of the family at 100% chiropractic.

The facility itself is modern, clean, and inviting. Holly explained that she often uses a massage approach that does not require getting undressed, yet still provides the full therapeutic benefits through targeted muscle manipulation. Doctor Highlights

About Dr. Matt Smith, D.C. 

Dr. Matt Smith was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, graduating from Vestavia Hills High School. As a student-athlete at Rhodes College, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology while also being a three time All-Conference honoree in football. He subsequently received a rugby scholarship to attended Life University in Atlanta, graduating Magna Cum Laude while earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He also holds postgraduate certifications in acupuncture and wellness.

Dr. Matt has been in practice for 16 years, all right here in Birmingham. Treating patients of all ages, he has a particular passion for helping athletes and the active population to compete at 100% of their ability.

Dr. Matt has also served as the team chiropractor for all of the UAB Blazers sports teams, a role he has proudly held since 2010. He has had the opportunity to be a part of excellent teams of healthcare professionals, working alongside medical physicians, surgical specialists, physical therapists, athletic trainers, massage therapists, and nutritionists.

He has been invited to speak as an expert on dozens of television and radio segments to discuss topics ranging from concussions, backpacks and - naturally - chiropractic care.
